The Comfortable Crossroads

Frequently Asked Questions

You don’t need to know exactly what you want before we speak. That may be the very reason to begin the conversation.

Who is The Comfortable Crossroads for?

The Comfortable Crossroads is for professional women who have worked hard to create comfortable lives but now find themselves asking what they want from the years ahead.

They know they want something different but may feel stuck because they are unsure what that difference is or how to begin moving towards it.

Nothing has to be wrong with your life for you to choose something different.

Do I need to know what I want before I join?

No. The program is specifically designed for women who know they want something different but may not yet know exactly what that difference is.

Your opening Crossroads Clarity session gives you the space to explore where you are now, reconnect with what matters most and clarify what you would like to focus on during the six weeks.

If you already know what you want, your coaching gives you the opportunity to explore what may be holding you back and develop the confidence, courage and momentum to move towards it.

What kinds of things can I bring to coaching?

Your coaching can focus on any area of your life that feels important to you. This might include making a decision you have been delaying, changing your career or working arrangements, improving an important relationship, prioritising your health and wellbeing, reconsidering your financial priorities, pursuing a long held goal, clarifying your priorities or experiencing your existing life differently.

There is no predetermined version of what your outcome should look like. Your coaching will centre on what matters most to you.

Coaching relating to health, wellbeing or finances will focus on your priorities, choices, goals and actions. It does not replace medical, financial or other specialist professional advice.

What is included in the six week experience?

The Comfortable Crossroads includes:

  • One private 90 minute Crossroads Clarity coaching session
  • Three private 45 minute coaching sessions, held fortnightly
  • Six 60 minute group workshop sessions, held weekly
  • One final 90 minute group Momentum Map session
  • WhatsApp support from Monday to Friday
  • Personalised resources when relevant to your needs and what emerges through your coaching
How are the coaching sessions delivered?

All private coaching and group workshop sessions are delivered online via Zoom, allowing you to participate from wherever you feel comfortable and have access to a reliable internet connection.

You will receive the program schedule, session links and everything you need before the program begins.

How much time will I need to commit?

In addition to attending the scheduled coaching and group workshop sessions, you will be encouraged to create some time for reflection and meaningful action between sessions.

There is no expectation that you complete large amounts of homework. Any actions or resources will be personally relevant and designed to work within your life. The value comes from remaining engaged with what matters to you and putting your insights and choices into practice.

What happens during the group workshop sessions?

Each group workshop session combines relevant teaching, guided reflection and practical exercises so you can explore what matters most, consider new possibilities and continue moving towards what you want.

You will have opportunities to ask questions, contribute to discussions and learn from the perspectives of other women. Each woman’s Comfortable Crossroads will be uniquely her own.

Will I have to share personal information with the group?

No. You will always choose how much you participate and what you share. You will never be expected to disclose personal information or discuss anything you would prefer to keep private.

You can participate meaningfully through listening, learning and reflecting privately on how the ideas apply to you. Your private coaching sessions provide a confidential space to explore matters you may not wish to discuss with the group.

All participants will be asked to respect one another’s privacy and keep anything shared during the workshops confidential.

Are group sessions recorded?

Group coaching sessions, workshops and the final Momentum Map session will be audio and/or video recorded for program delivery, including providing replays to the current participant group, supporting continuity and maintaining limited program records. KSC will notify participants at or before each recorded session.

By signing this agreement and participating in a group session, you consent to your voice, image, display name and contributions being captured. Recording is an integral part of the group program. If you do not wish to be visually identifiable, you may turn off your camera and use an agreed display name, but your voice and contributions will be captured if you speak.

Group replays will be made available only to the current participant group and KSC through the access method selected by KSC. Each replay will remain available for six weeks after the date of the relevant session. Participants must not download, copy, record or share a replay unless KSC expressly authorises this in writing.

KSC will remove routine program-delivery copies within 30 days after replay access ends, unless a copy must be retained to comply with law, manage a dispute, or the relevant material is retained under separate written marketing consent. Service-provider backup copies may remain temporarily in accordance with provider retention cycles.

Is there support between sessions?

Yes. You will have access to WhatsApp support from Monday to Friday throughout the program.

You can use this support to share progress, reflect on something that has emerged or seek support when you encounter a challenge. WhatsApp support complements your coaching sessions and is not intended to provide immediate, emergency or urgent mental health support.

What if I need to reschedule a private session?

For private sessions, at least 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule without charge or forfeiture. With less than 24 hours but more than 6 hours’ notice, KSC may charge or retain 50 percent of the allocated session fee. With less than 6 hours’ notice or for non-attendance, KSC may charge or retain the full allocated session fee. KSC may waive these terms in exceptional circumstances at its discretion.

Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may result in a session being forfeited after KSC discusses the concern with you. Rescheduled private sessions must occur within the program period unless KSC agrees otherwise in writing.

Group sessions occur at fixed times and cannot be individually rescheduled. Missing a group session does not entitle you to a refund, credit or replacement session. Where available, you may view the replay during the stated access period.

If KSC must reschedule or cancel a session, KSC will provide reasonable notice where possible and offer a replacement session, credit or other reasonable remedy. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded.

What results can I expect?

Every woman enters The Comfortable Crossroads with different circumstances, priorities and hopes for the future, so results will vary.

The experience is designed to guide you from “I know I want something different, but I am unsure what or how to begin” to clarity about what you want, a consciously chosen direction and meaningful action towards it.

Your individual outcome might be a decision, a new direction, progress towards a goal or a deeper appreciation of and engagement with the life you already have.

Coaching creates the opportunity for change, but no particular result can be guaranteed. Your engagement, choices and actions will play an important part in what you gain from the experience.

Will you tell me what I should do?

No. I don’t believe you need fixing and I won’t tell you what your life should look like.

My approach is pure and client led. I believe you are resourceful, capable and the expert in your own life. My role is to provide the space, structure, support and powerful questions that allow you to uncover your own answers, consciously choose what comes next and take meaningful action towards it.

Is coaching the same as counselling or therapy?

No. Coaching is a forward focused process for exploring what matters, making conscious choices and taking meaningful action.

It is not counselling, psychotherapy, medical care or urgent mental health support and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If another form of professional support appears better suited to your circumstances, we can discuss this openly.

What happens after I join?

Once your payment and coaching agreement have been completed, you will receive a personal welcome email containing the program schedule, Zoom and WhatsApp information and a short questionnaire to begin your reflection.

You will then book your private 90 minute Crossroads Clarity session, which takes place before the group workshops begin.

What is the payment and cancellation policy?

The available payment options and the cancellation and refund terms will be clearly explained before you confirm your place. You will have the opportunity to review these details, along with the coaching agreement, before making your payment.

How do I know whether the program is right for me?

Before joining The Comfortable Crossroads, every prospective participant begins with a private, no-obligation Comfortable Crossroads Conversation.

This gives us the opportunity to talk about how life is now, what you would like from the years ahead and what you hope to gain from coaching. We will explore whether the program suits your needs and whether we feel we are the right fit to work together.

The conversation is also an important part of creating a supportive group experience. For this reason, places in the program are offered only after we have spoken and mutually agreed that The Comfortable Crossroads is right for you.

You don’t need to know exactly what you want before we speak. That may be the very reason to begin the conversation.
